Abstract:
Long-time fertilizer and manure treatments, as applied to plats located on the Delaware Agricultural Experiment Farm, appear to have had no appreciable influence on the reaction of the soil. This is probably due to local conditions and the combinations used. Tentative evidence is given indicating that the type of rotation grown on Sassafras silt loam soil influences the pH value of the soil.
