Abstract:
Ascogregarina barretti and Dirofilaria immitis, single and mixed infections in Aedes triseriatus, gregarine infections caused reduction in weight of female pupae and slight increase in time to pupation of males, survival of adult female mosquitoes was not influenced by either gregarine infections, D. immitis infections, or concomitant infections with both parasites, infections of A. barretti did not appear to affect vector competence of A. triseriatus for D. immitis, A. barretti did not interfer with D. immitis development
