- A new cestode, Oochoristica calotes sp. n. is described from the intestine of garden lizard, Calotes versicolor, from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It differs from hitherto known species, reported from Calotes spp. viz., O. crassiceps, O. sigmoides, O. thapari and O. indica in length, number of testes, coiling of vas deferens and asymmetry in the lobes of the ovary, besides other details.
