Abstract:
This article discusses some general considerations when analysing data on antimicrobial resistance, delineate analytical methods that have been used in the analysis of antimicrobial resistance of bacteria, and identify additional methods that may have application. The analytical methods discussed are grouped into the following 6 general categories: descriptive, indices, categorical, nonparametric, multivariate, and analysis of clustered data.
