Abstract:
Petunia hybrida Vilm. protoplasts were genetically transformed via the microinjection of P. alpicola Juss. chromosomes. Transformation was determined by changes in the relative activity of various enzymes in the flavonoid biosynthetic pathway. These changes were genetically inherited in a Mendelian manner.
