- Acacia, cytotoxicity, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, triterpenoid saponins
- Three previously undescribed oleanane-type saponins acylated with monoterpenic acid, kamerunosides A, B, and C were isolated from the stem liana of Acacia kamerunensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive 1D and 2D NMR data and HRESIMS analyses. Their cytotoxicities were evaluated against HL60 cells. Kamerunoside B was the most cytotoxic.
