- Bio-renewables are emerging as potential materials for CO₂ sorption. Epinephrine is employed as a green scrubbing agent for CO₂ capturing through the formation of a metal carbamate as proved by ¹H, ¹³C and ¹H–¹⁵N NMR and ex situ ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, as well as supported by quantum-chemical calculations.
