- The pulses of light scattering which exhibit varying degrees of polarization are heterogeneously sensitive to the degree of polarization of suspended particles. The light scattering information has been used to discriminate gold nanoparticles entrapped in single-wall carbon nanotubes-doped nanoscaffold. The present work reports a polarization study to characterize gold nanoparticles of two different sizes entrapped in single-wall carbon nanotubes-doped nanoscaffold.
