- In this article, the robustness of Shorebase-Shipborne bistatic Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) is tested when phase synchronization errors and nonstationary three-dimensional rotational motions occur. Mathematically, the point spread function is derived and distortions are analysed. It is shown that, the proposed image formation method in combination with range-instantaneous-Doppler technique is able to form focused images, even considering the poorest performance oscillators. The simulated results are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results.
