Abstract:
Herein we report the use of a white light emitting quantum dot complex (comprising an orange emitting Mn²⁺-doped ZnS quantum dot and greenish-blue emitting zinc-quinolate complex) as a two-target responsive ratiometric reversible pH nanosensor in the physiological range of 6.5–10.3, following changes in their luminescence intensity ratio, color and chromaticity.
