Abstract:
We develop a ferroelectric nanohybrid that improves photocatalytic efficiency by reducing the recombination of holes and electron charge carriers. In particular, the size of uniformly dispersed ferroelectric BaTiO₃ in the nanohybrid reaches the critical size of a monodomain, which avoids the need for a poling process for switching the ferroelectric polarization.
