Facile synthesis of cubical Co₃O₄ supported Au nanocomposites with high activity for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol

Abstract:
Cubic Co₃O₄ supported Au nanocomposites have been synthesized via a facile impregnation method. The Au/Co₃O₄ exhibited excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (TOF = 9.83 min⁻¹). The unique structure and high catalytic performance make the materials highly promising candidates for diverse applications in the area of catalysis.
